Exam times brings anxiety for children and parents alike. Children complain “I don’t know where to start” and parents complain “I don’t know how to help!”
Schools are under ever increasing pressure to meet their targets, which can have a negative impact on our children, who feel that they are always striving for an often unreachable goal. Even when they reach their targets the goalposts are frequently moved.
Reducing exam stress is not necessarily about working harder, but about working smarter. It is about utilising your time effectively and knowing what you don’t know so that you can target your revision!
